AVSil® BT18T Silica Fabric is a lightweight high silica content fabric that is engineered to withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 1900°F (1038°C). AVSil® BT18T Silica Fabric is typically used for the fabrication of high temperature textile products for industrial and automotive applications. The broken twill weave improves handling properties over the conventional satin weave construction. AVSil® BT18T Silica Fabric is treated with a proprietary surface finish to improve handing and thermal properties.
