AVS Sew Thread (Metalized) 13

Sub Category: Sewing Thread

Description

AVS Metalized Sewing Threads are high temperature resistant threads composed of a Stainless- Steel core with a cotton jacket overlay. The Stainless -Steel can withstand temperatures up to 1800°F (982°C). The cotton jacket has been treated with a special flame-resistant finish that will burn off at temperatures over 400°F (204°C). AVS Metalized Sewing Threads are engineered for use in the manufacture of high temperature textile parts

Application

AVS Metalized Sewing Threads can be used for textile fabrication with conventional Fiberglass, Flxglas. HT treated specialty fiberglass, and AVSil. silica fabrics. Textile fabrication will involve the manufacture of removable thermal covers, thermal wraps, blankets, insulation pads, curtains and screens.

AVS Metalized sewing threads should not be used in electrically conductive environments.
