AVS Sewing Thread E-18PL is comprised of “E” fiberglass that is coated with PTFE and lubricated with silicone oil to improve handling and sewing properties. AVS Sewing Thread E-18PL is engineered for use in the manufacture of high temperature textile parts.
Application
AVS Sewing Thread E-18PL is intended for medium temperature sewing applications with service temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C) requiring good seam strengths.
AVS Sewing Thread E-18PL is ideal for sewing our standard E-glass fiberglass fabrics and our FLXGLAS. HT specialty treated Fiberglass Fabrics. Fabricated textile products include removable covers, thermal wraps, blankets, insulation pads, and curtains.
