Description
Alpha Fiberglass ALM2020 is a plain weave heat treated E-glass fiberglass cloth that is laminated with a layer of aluminized Mylar to one side of the fabric using a proprietary flame-retardant adhesive. The base fabric has been heat treated to remove residue organic binders to improve the adhesive bond of the aluminized Mylar to the fabric. ALM2020 has demonstrated excellent fabrication properties compared to conventional aluminized foil fiberglass fabrics.
Application
Alpha Fiberglass ALM2020 is typically used as an outer liner material in removable insulation pads, protective sleeving, reflective curtains, vapor shields, and flange shields. Recommended for industrial applications requiring heat reflectivity, liquid and/or vapor resistance.
