AVS Sewing Thread SI3S-24/PL is comprised of “S-2” Fiberglass with 3 strands of Inconel Wire. AVS Sewing Thread SI3S-24/PL is lubricated with PTFE and silicone oil to improve handling and sewing properties.

Application

AVS Sewing Thread SI3S-24/PL is intended for high temperature sewing applications with service temperatures up to 1400°F (760°C) for the S-2 Fiberglass and up to 2000°F (1093°C) for the Inconel wire resulting in good seam strengths.
