AVSil® Silrub silicone coated two-sided silica fabrics engineered for industrial applications requiring a compromise of thermal protection and abrasion resistance properties. The high-performance silicone coating improves the fabric handling properties while improving the fabrics capability to withstand a moderate levels of molten metal exposure.

The base fabric will remain pliable after exposure to continuous temperatures up to 1900°F (1038°C). AVSil® Silrub silicone coated two-sided silica fabrics are used for fabricating textile parts to support many industrial applications. These fabrics are also utilized in Power Generation (Nuclear Approved), Refinery, Shipbuilding, Ship Repair and Metal Processing Industries.
