Description

Alpha Maritex Style 1700-S is a fiberglass fabric coated with a specially formulated dry silicone rubber. This special high temperature, flame retardant silicone rubber provides greater life and improves resistance to abrasion, tear and puncture and increases flexibility.

APPLICATIONS
Removable Insulation Blankets, Welding Curtains, Flange Covers, Expansion Joints, Equipment Covers, Safety Clothing. This product is designed specifically for high temperature (500 °F) removable blankets, and flange and valve covers where a very soft and flexible fabric is desired or needed.  Potential applications include: insulation wrap for pipes, hoses and electrical cables, isolated high temperature welding protection, and thermal and/or welding blanket fabrication for cut edge protection to eliminate fraying.
