ALPHA MARITEX sewing threads have been specifically designed to replace various types of synthetic and asbestos sewing threads and have been designed specifically for use on ALPHA MARITEX lagging fabrics. They are coated with various lubricants to improve handling characteristics.
ADVANTAGES
All PTFE coated sewing threads will not burn or support combustion in normal atmospheres. They are suitable in temperatures from -400° F (-240° C) to +600° F (+315° C). They are resistant to water, unaffected by fungi and impervious to most acids and alkalis.
Lower Continuous Operating Temperature (°F): -400
Upper Continuous Operating Temperature (°F): 600
