AVSil® Silica Adhesive-Backed Slit Tapes are manufactured using AVSil® silica fabric and high-performance pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. AVSil® Silica ST84CHAB and ST188CHAB. Adhesive-Backed Slit Tapes provide protection of electrical lines, piping, and equipment in high temperature applications against welding splatter, fire, extreme heat and molten metal. AVSil® Silica Adhesive-Backed Slit Tapes are typically used for thermal protection over; pipes, electrical wires, water hoses, cords and cables. AVSil® Silica ST84CHAB and ST188CHAB are better value than regular slit tapes because they have the added benefit of adhesive backing for ease of installation as cable wraps.
